Find DeKalb County Traffic Court Records

Start with the court named on your citation. DeKalb County traffic court records live in more than one place: State Court Division B handles the county traffic layer, while Atlanta, Stonecrest, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Tucker, and other municipal courts each keep city files of their own. A citation, a case event, a payment entry, and a court setting sound alike but are different things. Search with the strongest number you have, confirm the date against the legal notice and the current docket, then use the issuing court's payment or appearance route. The court file and a separate state file answer to different custodians, so knowing which office holds your record saves real time.

Traffic Court Records in DeKalb County

Most ordinary citations land in DeKalb State Court Division B, the county's traffic layer. That court runs its own Benchmark search. It also posts a docket, takes e-filing, sits on Camp Circle, and processes payments. Division A is where DUI and serious traffic matters go. A citation written inside a DeKalb city may belong elsewhere. It could go to Atlanta, Stonecrest, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Tucker, or another municipal court.

Whoever issued the ticket keeps the traffic case file. A payment screen can show a response path while leaving out the full DeKalb docket, a certified disposition, or some settings. Keep the citation number, case number, court name, and date together in one place. That match beats treating every DeKalb traffic page as one database. It is not one database.

DeKalb County State B Citation Search

The public DeKalb State Court Division B Benchmark search is the place to start. It opens with a radio identifier. You can narrow it by dates, court type, party type, division, or charge. Type the exact value from your DeKalb citation or notice. The court's own example is 2005 TR 000123. That is a year, a traffic code, and a six-digit number.

The DeKalb fee page bars personal checks. It also blocks online payment for anyone under 21. For FFA questions, call Camp Circle at 404-294-2099.

How to Look Up a DeKalb County Traffic Ticket

A DeKalb citation number is your best starting key. Yet the court and the issuing city matter just as much. For a State Division B citation, use the DeKalb State B Benchmark tool. Otherwise, start with the municipal court named on the ticket. A city case can lag before it appears online. The result may not be ready at first. Then the DeKalb court's own phone or counter is the fallback.

  1. Read the citation, copy its number, and identify the issuing court.
  2. Run the number through State B Benchmark or the city's linked court search.
  3. If the citation is missing, use the public name or other approved identifier fields.
  4. Call the court or visit its clerk counter when the citation has not posted.
  5. Record the court date, response route, amount due, and any reset or FTA instruction.

No result? Recheck the number and the court. Allow the posting delay the city states, use the official notice, and ask the clerk. A blank DeKalb search does not prove that no traffic case exists.

DeKalb County Municipal Traffic Courts

DeKalb municipal traffic records stay with the city court that issued the citation. Atlanta runs its own DeKalb city Benchmark host plus a separate payment route. Stonecrest links a GovernmentWindow payment service and a dated calendar. Brookhaven posts court and payment instructions. Dunwoody links a municipal search and payment portal. Tucker links online, in-person, mail, and phone payment paths. None of these city systems swaps into DeKalb State Division B.

When the citation names a city, use that city court first. A case can later move to DeKalb State Court. Keep the new case number with the citation if so. A payment page is not a full traffic docket. The city clerk can confirm the public record.

Finding Your Traffic Court Date

The citation or summons itself is the legal notice source. Atlanta calls its citation the official summons. Tucker prints the date and time right on it. Beyond that, the live case event, a posted calendar, a city court calendar, and a clerk confirmation are separate checks worth making. A reset or continuance should be confirmed from the latest DeKalb event or notice. Never infer it from an old row.

Citation numberThe exact ticket identifier, including the State B pattern when applicable.
CourtState Division B, State Division A, or the named municipal court.
Date and timeThe appearance, arraignment, trial, compliance, or other setting.
Location or courtroomThe building, courtroom, or remote marker published by that court.
StatusPending, paid, disposed, FTA, compliance, or another court-defined entry.

DeKalb State Court warns that web listings can change or omit proceedings. When the citation, the event, and the calendar disagree, ask the issuing court or the calendar clerk.

DeKalb County Atlanta Traffic Records

Atlanta Municipal Court runs its own Benchmark host. It covers name, case, citation, tag, warrant, and driver's-license searches. The city-linked nCourt payment page takes a citation or case number and handles payment. It is not the full Atlanta municipal traffic register. Atlanta uses CONV to mark a received citation with no courtroom and time assigned yet. The city points people to monitors or the scheduled date in that gap.

The Municipal Court sits at 150 Garnett Street SW. The court phone is 404-954-7914. A DeKalb reset request is due no later than ten days before arraignment. It cannot be handled by phone or online. It stays discretionary with the court.

The Atlanta citation payment form for DeKalb cases on that page shows the city-linked payment view the court directs drivers to use.

For an Atlanta citation, use that court's Benchmark host first. Then keep the DeKalb payment result separate from the court event and the disposition.

Stonecrest Traffic Court Records in 2026

Stonecrest Municipal Court sits at 3120 Stonecrest Boulevard, Suite 155. Its 2026 court calendar, revised January 6, 2026, spreads the DeKalb casework across the month. Arraignment lands on the second Tuesday and fourth Thursday. FTA or compliance matters come on the second Thursday, and bench trials on the third Tuesday. Sessions are in person until the court says otherwise.

For payment, the city points to GovernmentWindow. Any jury matter binds over to DeKalb State Court. Dates can shift, so treat the calendar as a planning aid. The court's latest notice always controls.

Brookhaven and Dunwoody Traffic Court Records

Brookhaven Municipal Court meets at the Public Safety Building, 1793 Briarwood Road. The court phone is 404-637-0660. Arraignment and pretrial sessions run Mondays and Thursdays at 2:00 and 3:30. Citation status can lag three business days. A fresh filing may not show right away. When eligible, Brookhaven takes payment online, in person, or by mail. Mandatory-appearance matters must take the court's appearance route instead. The listed school-zone exceptions count here. PPS probation payments go through a separate path.

Dunwoody Municipal Court works out of City Hall, 4800 Ashford Dunwoady Road. Its portal asks for a Citation or Case Number and allows five days for posting. The vendor's nCourt support covers only technical help. The clerk stays the authority at 678-382-6973, Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00. Eligible payment is due by the scheduled date and time. Miss it, and the case becomes an FTA matter. That needs in-person action.

The Dunwoody municipal portal contact and search route for DeKalb citations shows exactly where the citation or case-number entry goes.

Brookhaven and Dunwoody traffic cases follow each city court's own timing and appearance rules. Even so, both remain DeKalb County traffic matters.

Tucker Traffic Court Records in DeKalb County

Tucker Municipal Court sits at 1975 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 350B, phone 678-597-9040. The city connects to Justice-One or TMCourtPay for online, in-person, mail, and phone payment. Expect a 5% card fee, no personal checks, and no mobile payments. Whatever route you pick, match it to the citation and court date.

Continuance rules are tight. Tucker generally allows one reset request. It must come by the Friday before the hearing, through the signed reset route. DeKalb Code Enforcement holds environmental and offense Wednesdays. If a date is missed, call the DeKalb clerk. Do not assume payment cleared the setting.

The Tucker citation and court-appearance page for DeKalb cases lays out the city's reset, payment, and date rules.

Tucker's Friday reset deadline and its card-fee rule are strictly local. They do not carry over to DeKalb State B or any other city court. Each court's own notice governs.

Paying or Contesting a DeKalb County Ticket

Whether you pay or contest, start with the issuing DeKalb court. The deadline is printed on the citation. DeKalb State B lists online, in-person, and mail payment; municipal courts set their own terms. Want a hearing? Follow the court's response or appearance instruction. Do not treat the payment page as the only path.

Missed date or FTA: DeKalb State B says an FTA cannot be paid online. Its fee page lists a $50 citation-holder FTA fee and directs DeKalb questions to Camp Circle at 404-294-2099. DeKalb municipal courts use their own FTA process, so contact the issuing city court before choosing a payment route.

DeKalb County Traffic Calendar and Reset Checks

The DeKalb State Court calendar search gives you Calendar, Division, Judge, keyword, Date Range, From Date, To Date, and Search controls. The keyword box reaches case, plaintiff, defendant, judge, courtroom, and hearing type. One caution: the page itself warns that listings may change or leave out proceedings. A calendar row is a snapshot. It is not a promise the setting still stands.

Reset rules vary by court. Atlanta wants a reset request ten days before arraignment. Tucker generally uses the prior Friday and allows one continuance. Brookhaven says citation status can take three business days to update. Dunwoody turns a missed date into an FTA. It is handled in person. Stonecrest's 2026 calendar splits arraignment, FTA or compliance, and bench-trial dates, with sessions in person. When sources conflict, confirm with the latest DeKalb court notice.

Court Traffic Record vs Driver Record

Two offices keep two separate files. The clerk of the issuing DeKalb court holds the court traffic case record. The state licensing agency keeps the driving record. A DeKalb court docket lookup answers a court-file question only, and it never becomes the other office's record.

FileCustodianWhat the route is for
Court traffic case recordIssuing court clerkCitation, case events, settings, payment or plea entry, disposition, and court copies.
State driving recordState licensing agencyA separate state-held file, requested from that agency rather than a court clerk.

When a citation moves from a DeKalb city court to DeKalb State Court, keep the two offices straight. The court file stays with the court that holds the case. That file remains the source for the court date, each event, and how the case ended.

Fees and Copies

Traffic costs in DeKalb depend on the issuing court. They also depend on how you respond. DeKalb State B publishes charge, surcharge, court-cost, and FTA figures. Municipal courts post their own payment terms. Tucker's card fee is one example. For copies, ask the clerk of the court holding the case. The county sets no single traffic-copy amount.
