Check DeKalb County Court Calendar

Start with the clerk of the court that holds your case. A DeKalb County court calendar gathers hearing dates in one scheduled view. It covers trials, arraignments, and conferences, though no single calendar lists every setting in every court. Your date may instead sit in a citation, a summons, a case event, a posted PDF, a daily docket, or a notice from the clerk. Match the court, division, case number, and type of setting, and when listings conflict, confirm with the newest source. Calendars change, and a proceeding can drop off without warning. The official notice and the responsible clerk still matter most.

The DeKalb County Court Calendar

DeKalb County stacks its court calendar in layers. The citation, summons, or notice you received is the legal notice. Odyssey and Benchmark hold case events. From there, DeKalb State Court posts a searchable calendar. Division B publishes date-based PDFs. DeKalb Superior links daily and judge calendars. DeKalb Magistrate splits civil, criminal, and ordinance lists. Cities publish their own municipal schedules, and Infax supplies a Superior-linked daily view.

None of these update in sync. DeKalb State Court itself warns that listings may change or omit proceedings. A printed list can lag behind a newer event. When a web row has not budged, the notice usually controls. Always keep court, division, case number, date, time, and source date together.

A human closes the gaps. Call 404-371-2261 for DeKalb State and Magistrate Clerk information. Route Superior calendar questions through the Superior Clerk. The main courthouse at 556 North McDonough Street is a different building from the Camp Circle complex. Camp Circle handles State Division B traffic and Magistrate criminal matters. Juvenile, Probate, and municipal courts keep their own clerks and buildings. A courthouse PAT or counter helps when a setting is old, gated, or missing from a dynamic form.

DeKalb State Calendar Controls

The official DeKalb State Court calendar puts six search controls ahead of the submit button. The select options load dynamically, so work from the live form rather than a memorized list of divisions or judges. The keyword field reaches across case, plaintiff, defendant, judge, courtroom, and hearing type.

How to Find Your DeKalb County Court Date

Go to the citation, summons, notice, or scheduling order first. Atlanta and Tucker both stress the printed citation date. DeKalb State Court warns that a web list may omit a proceeding. The DeKalb County case-search route can surface an event. But the court and division have to match yours.

When the date truly matters, use every channel. A DeKalb clerk, calendar coordinator, counter, or PAT can pin down a setting. It may be old, gated, or not yet rendered online.

  1. Copy the court, number, date, time, and location from the official notice.
  2. Search Odyssey or Benchmark by exact case or citation number.
  3. Check Georgia Courts E-Access or ResearchGA for a listed DeKalb State or Superior case.
  4. Compare the matching DeKalb State, Division B, Superior, Magistrate, city, or courthouse list.
  5. Call the clerk or coordinator, or use a PAT or counter, if sources conflict.

For a live answer, call 404-371-2261, the shared DeKalb State and Magistrate Clerk line. DeKalb State A and Magistrate civil sit at the main courthouse. Division B traffic plus Magistrate criminal and ordinance matters sit at Camp Circle.

A printed courtroom list, posted docket call, or daily calendar makes a handy same-day check. It is still just a snapshot. Do a DeKalb web result, your notice, and a courthouse list disagree? Save each source date. Then ask the DeKalb clerk or your calendar coordinator which setting controls.

DeKalb Superior Calendar Sources

Two DeKalb Superior layers answer different questions. Odyssey demands cookies and JavaScript. It shows events without an account, but viewing images requires a public-access role. An arraignment PDF takes the other approach. It packs in court and calendar type, a remote marker, courthouse, date, time, room, slot, number, defendant fields, custody or bond, charges, counsel, and judge.

Neither layer is the full history. Odyssey may carry a later reset. The PDF wins for a quick daily courtroom list. Compare source date, latest event, and notice before you rely on either. The DeKalb Superior Court home links its current calendar resources.

Calendar PDF
A posted snapshot with fields richer than a short event result.

Daily docket
A day view that may omit filings or orders.
Official notice

Reading a DeKalb County Court Setting

A DeKalb setting line names the event, though not always the reason behind it. A date and time could mark a docket call, a calendar start, or one individual matter. Room and floor tell you where to go. You might belong at the main courthouse, Camp Circle, or a city setting. A remote label describes format only. It does not say whether the public may attend.

DateThe scheduled calendar date. Compare it with the newest notice or event after a reset.
TimeThe docket call, calendar start, or individual setting time shown by that court.
CourtroomThe room, floor, or building listed for the division and hearing.
JudgeThe presiding judge or assigned division when the calendar publishes one.
Setting typeArraignment, first appearance, preliminary hearing, pretrial, motion, trial, compliance, FTA, or disposition.
FormatIn-person, Zoom, or another remote marker, subject to the court's current instructions.

DeKalb State civil lists carry deadlines, case ranges, attendance directions, and Case, Parties, Attorneys, and cause columns. Superior criminal calendars add charge and counsel fields. Read the fields as one picture, never as a lone date.

DeKalb Infax Calendar Columns

DeKalb Superior Court links to Infax for a same-day courtroom view. Six DeKalb columns appear: Party Name, Case Number, Floor, Courtroom, Hearing Time, and Judge. They help you match a case to a room. Yet they cannot replace Odyssey, a filed document, a clerk copy, or your notice.

Infax is a daily presentation layer. It is not a full register. A motion, order, reset, or restricted document may require the case event or the Superior Clerk. Keep private party values out of any example you write.

The DeKalb Superior-linked Infax docket serves as a field and layout reference.

Resets, Continuances, and Cancellations

A DeKalb reset only moves a setting. It does not dismiss anything. A cancellation entry is just as thin, since it never says whether a new court date was set. When the sources clash, trust the newest DeKalb event or notice, then a signed written order, and phone the clerk last. In DeKalb State civil cases, continuances require a prior written order for legal cause, and the 2026 standing order layers on deadline and peremptory-calendar directions. Other DeKalb courts run their own rules. Sometimes a hearing vanishes from the docket simply because the calendar changed or dropped the matter.

Municipal reset rules split too. Atlanta describes a ten-day arraignment request. Tucker wants a signed request by the Friday before, and Brookhaven warns that citation status may lag three business days. Those details make the issuing DeKalb court's own notice far more reliable than any generic county date assumption.

Reset
A moved setting that needs a confirmed replacement date.
Continuance
A court-approved postponement, often subject to a written order.
Cancellation
A removed or called-off setting; ask the court what event follows.
Peremptory calendar
A State civil management calendar with deadline instructions.
FTA calendar
A failure-to-appear setting used by State B, Magistrate, and some municipal courts.

DeKalb Division B Posted Dockets

DeKalb State Division B posts its docket on a route separate from DeKalb Benchmark. Pick the court date and hit Search. Then select the Adobe PDF icon on the line item. That date list is only a snapshot. Compare it against the citation, the event, and clerk confirmation before you rely on it.

Division B traffic runs out of Camp Circle, not the DeKalb Division A counter. A blank DeKalb result often means the wrong date, identifier, or platform. It does not always mean no case at all. The official DeKalb Division B docket instructions walk through the date, Search, and Adobe PDF steps.

What to Do If You Miss a Setting

Missing a DeKalb County setting has consequences. An FTA, a compliance or warrant event, a bond issue, or a court-specific payment instruction can follow. What actually happens depends on the DeKalb court, and a web calendar alone cannot tell you the legal next step.

Missed a Setting? Do not assume that a DeKalb reset, cancellation, or new date has been granted.

Read the official DeKalb notice, contact the responsible clerk or calendar coordinator immediately, and ask how the current event and any FTA or warrant language should be addressed.

Contact a licensed attorney about the missed DeKalb County setting when the matter involves a criminal case, warrant, bond, mandatory appearance, or another legal consequence.

Start with the right office. A DeKalb city citation goes to that city's clerk, while DeKalb State or Superior matters need the case number, court, division, old date, and source. Confirm the building too, because the DeKalb main courthouse, Camp Circle, Juvenile, Probate, and the city facilities all sit apart.

DeKalb City Calendar Differences

DeKalb municipal calendars follow no shared format. Atlanta treats the citation itself as the official summons. A reset request must arrive no later than ten days before arraignment, in person or by mail. Tucker prints the court date right on the citation and generally allows one signed continuance request by the Friday before. Brookhaven posts its own cautions. Status there can take three business days to update, and mandatory appearances cannot be paid in advance.

Don't let older Stonecrest material outrank the revised 2026 in-person notice. Dunwoody's payment portal is handy but not a full case history. Use the city's current DeKalb notice first, then route any transferred case through DeKalb State Court.
